Search engine optimization or seo is the process of increasing number of visitors to a website and improving the content of website using seo tools so that the website can rank higher in organic search results thereby increasing visibility of the website and leading to increased traffic on the website.

Seo can be classified into 3 types:

1. On-page seo:-or simply on site seo is the practice of optimizing web page's content for search engine and its users.Common on-page practice includes optimizing Title tag, content of Website i.e keywords and description and internal links.Or simply it includes providing good content , good keyword, putting keyword in correct places and giving appropriate title.  
2. Off- page seo:- are the process  that take place away from your website such as back-link buildings,social media  marketing and guest blogging to bring traffic from other platforms to your website and to increase its reach out there on the internet. 
3. Technical  seo:  It is the process of ensuring that your website meets all the technical requirements that are needed to make them compatible with modern search engines to improve organic search engine ranking,Main elements of technical seo are crawling , indexing and website architecture.
